Sandy buys eligible devices with cracked screens, water damage, broken back covers and damaged bodies. The device must still meet Sandy's higher-end model policy: its price when new is above AED 500. Acceptance of a type of damage is not a fixed-price promise. Share the exact model, storage and fault details first so the team can discuss the device before arranging pickup.
Send a useful description of the fault
Explain when you noticed the problem, whether the device starts and which functions you can still test. Photos should show the entire device as well as close-ups of damage. For water damage, describe what happened rather than claiming the device is fully working because it turns on. You do not need to diagnose a component yourself. An honest description of what you observe is more useful than an uncertain repair diagnosis.
Dead devices and locked devices have different rules
A dead device is accepted only if it works after the required part replacement. If it still does not work, Sandy returns it free of charge. An iCloud-locked or Google-locked device is not accepted for purchase. A broken screen does not remove the need to resolve account locks. If the fault prevents you from removing your data or account, explain this before handover so the next step can be discussed.
Decide between repair and selling with separate quotes
If you are unsure whether to keep the device, ask for a repair estimate and a buyback estimate separately. Sandy offers display, battery and body repairs, with doorstep repair and repair pickup across all seven UAE emirates and no doorstep visit charge. Repair work is charged as quoted; timing and warranty terms depend on device condition and the repair needed. Buyback pickup has different coverage: Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. Compare the options using your actual device, not a generic repair price.
