Selling Your Phone to Sandy: Pickup, Inspection and Payment

What to expect from your first offer to payment, including free pickup areas, inspection, cancellation and bank transfers.

About Sandy

Step 1: Get an offer for your device

Sandy is a direct device buyer: you sell your device to Sandy rather than listing it for another customer to buy. Start with the model, storage and condition. Use the online selector for supported devices, or contact the team for an assisted quote. Tell the team about damage and account locks at the start. The initial estimate is based on the details supplied and is confirmed through inspection before a sale is agreed.

Step 2: Arrange free pickup in a supported area

Buyback pickup is free in every area of Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. Share a clear location and agree the pickup arrangements with the team. Sandy's business hours are 24/7, but confirm your appointment rather than assuming a particular arrival time. Keep your device and any agreed included items ready. Before handover, back up your data and remove personal information and account locks using the manufacturer's guidance.

Inspection comes before your final decision

The device is checked against the information used for the estimate. If the final offer differs, ask what condition detail explains the difference before accepting. You can reject the final offer. Sandy charges no pickup, inspection, cancellation or return fee if you cancel or decline after inspection. There is no need to accept an offer simply because pickup has been arranged. Make the decision after you understand the final amount.

Step 3: Accept the offer and get paid

Payment is usually cash after acceptance of the final offer. If you prefer a bank transfer, request it from the team when arranging the sale so your preference is clear. Confirm the agreed amount and payment details at handover. Keep a record of the transaction for your own reference. For a repair enquiry, use the separate repair service: its all-emirate coverage does not mean buyback pickup is available in every emirate.
